The Canton Electrical Labor Management Cooperation Committee (Canton LMCC) is a collaborative partnership between IBEW Local 540 and the North Central Ohio Chapter of NECA.
Our Purpose & Impact
The Canton LMCC is devoted to promoting the Union Electrical Construction Industry through continuing education, industry standards, technology, innovation, and industry partnerships to the members of IBEW 540, NCO NECA Canton Division, and the Greater Canton area community.

How We Work Together
The Canton LMCC is made up of six committee members, three of whom are appointed by IBEW 540 and three appointed by NCO NECA. The committee members work collaboratively to achieve the following duties and responsibilities:
Labor-Management Collaboration
Maintaining open communication and cooperative relationships between workers and employers.
Problem Solving & Compliance
Addressing issues of mutual concern, supporting fair labor practices, and ensuring compliance with agreements and regulations.
Training & Education Initiatives
Developing and supporting programs that strengthen skills, safety, and professional growth.
Innovation & Industry Research
Supporting research, technology, and new methods that improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Partnerships & Engagement
Working with other LMCCs, industry groups, and community organizations to share best practices and expand impact.
